Dr. Rosemary Henry exhibits passion in advancing excellence in Catholic education and serving Catholic communities in Christ-centered environments. With thirty years of experience in this setting, she has led and inspired communities as Superintendent of Catholic Schools in the Northwest, Northeast and the South coast. Blessed with diverse roles, she has also enjoyed serving as a Principal/President in each developmental stage, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Director of Guidance and Counseling, and teacher. As a college and university professor, in Catholic and Christian universities, Rosemary worked with undergraduate and graduate students, alike, in the Departments of Human Development, Psychology, Counseling and Family Studies as well as the Departments of Education and Business. Blessed with the opportunity to serve in diverse roles and to contribute to pathways for future success of our Catholic school communities and leaders have been a true blessing and, moreover, a sheer delight for her.
Rosemary brings a unique perspective to education. As an Ambassador from the United States Department of Education to countries including Japan, People’s Republic of China, Russia and South Korea she studied educational philosophies, programs, student learning successes and leadership platforms. These global experiences combined with her extensive study of South American countries and educational formats compel her to imagine: What If?
Growing up in the North, she is a product of Catholic education. Rosemary has earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Texas and a Master’s Degree in Guidance in Counseling and Curriculum and Instruction from Texas Woman’s University, the largest women’s university in the country. Texas Woman’s University also conferred her Doctor of Philosophy Degree. Post graduate studies in Educational Leadership and Superintendent-District Leader Programs served instrumental to continued successes and service.
