Fees
Our fee structure at Catholic Recruiter Associates is designed to be simple, straight forward and transparent.
Many firms charge 30 or 33 percent of compensation to conduct a search. For our Catholic organizations our fee is 25% of first year compensation detailed in an offer letter. For our Catholic Affiliated Organizations (CAO) our fee is 28% of compensation. The fee is performance based and is billed at 1/3 of the estimated fee upon engagement; 1/3 at the point when candidates are being interviewed and 1/3 upon completion based on the actual compensation arranged less the amount paid to us previously. Our minimum compensation level is $80K.
We guarantee the placement for one year and will conduct another search for that position if the candidate is terminated during the first year from date of employment.
On occasion, additional services are required that are beyond the original scope, i.e. accessing special directories or travel to host on-location search committee meetings with candidates. Expenses for these types of activities will be pre-approved with and billed to the client.
A simple 2-page engagement letter outlining the above starts our process and details our mutual obligations.
